Painless removal of a damaged or badly decayed tooth.
Cap a weak tooth or replace a missing one permanently.

A crown is a cap that covers and protects a weak or root-treated tooth. A bridge joins crowns together to fill the gap left by a missing tooth, anchored to the teeth either side. We offer metal-ceramic, full ceramic and zirconia.
The material changes the cost, the strength and how closely it matches your own teeth. We will show you the options for your tooth and tell you which one we would choose — but the decision is yours.
Milled from a solid block of zirconia. The strongest tooth-coloured option there is, completely metal-free, and it will not show a dark line at the gum as the gum recedes.
Best for: Front teeth, and anyone who wants strength and appearance together
Layered ceramic that passes light almost the way enamel does, so it is the hardest crown to spot as artificial. A little less strong than zirconia under heavy chewing.
Best for: Single front teeth where the match has to be invisible
A metal core with ceramic baked over it. Proven over decades and the most economical of the tooth-coloured crowns, though a faint dark margin can appear at the gumline over the years.
Best for: Back teeth, and multi-tooth bridges
Cast entirely in metal, so it needs the least tooth trimmed away and is practically unbreakable. It does not match the tooth colour, which limits where it makes sense.
Best for: Out-of-sight molars, and heavy grinders
A pre-formed cap fitted in one appointment to protect a badly decayed milk tooth until it falls out naturally.
Best for: Children’s back milk teeth
An acrylic cap that protects the prepared tooth and keeps it looking normal in the days before the permanent crown comes back from the lab. Included as part of the treatment.
Best for: Every patient, between the preparation and fitting visits
